About Us
Home Instead provides in home, non-medical custodial care to the elderly and disabled in the Birmingham area. Dan Pahos started the Birmingham, AL franchise in 1997, and we have had the honor of caring for over 14,000 families during that time. Services like medication reminders, meal preparation, ambulating/transferring, light housekeeping, supervision of Alzheimer's', Dementia, Parkinsons, incidental transportation, companionship, etc. Can be long term or short term, with 4 hour per shift minimum, up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
