Dana H. Henson has managed the Hoover Senior Center since 2007. With over 25 years of recreation experience, her expertise has ranged from developing workshop/classes, coordinating large special events, operating the Hoover Recreation Center childcare to directing the City of Hoover Senior Center. This visionary, along with her dedicated staff and devoted strategic planning team, proudly earned their title as the first Nationally Accredited Senior Center in the state of Alabama in May of 2018.
