Snelling is currently recruiting for a Sales Representative for an amazing company in the Selma, AL area! If you are looking for a family-orientated, stable, and team-player company, this is for you! You will work remotely and travel 1 or 2 weeks per month. 70% is sales and 30% cold calls, maintaining and serving current clients. Will provide a laptop, cell phone or reimbursement, pay for gas, etc. The position once trained will be remote and cover the TN, Carolinas, Mississippi, and Arkansas. The company has been in business for over 30 years.
Responsibilities for Sales Representative:
- Rapidly grow the company’s sales pipeline, forecast time to close, and revenue
- Meet overall sales financial objectives by preparing monthly and annual sales projections and supporting expense budgets
- Utilize CRM solutions to provide timely and accurate sales activity tracking and status updates along with predictable and precise sales forecasts
- Create sales reports and provide feedback to the leadership team at company meetings
- Identify new opportunities and innovations that generate additional sales profitability and growth
Skills Required for Sales Representative:
- 2-5 years of sales experience, ideally within the Grocery or Convenience Store channels of trade
- Experience working with national chains of 30 stores or more and with National wholesalers/distributors
- Proven track record of bringing in new business and breaking into new channels of trade
- Must be able to travel often
- Located within a day’s drive of Selma, AL plant—must be able to travel to Selma for various meetings 1-2x/month, as needed; will meet on Zoom or in person with CEO weekly
