The SEC Baseball Tournament is the postseason championship for the Southeastern Conference and takes place each May at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in Hoover, Alabama. The tournament determines the SEC’s automatic qualifier to the NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament and features one of the deepest and most competitive fields in college baseball. The event uses a 16-team, single-elimination format, with all SEC programs qualifying and seeding based on regular-season conference records. Teams seeded 9–16 open play early in the week, while seeds 5–8 and the top four seeds receive byes that reward regular-season performance, with the highest seeds entering later in the bracket. The win-or-go-home structure creates a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, culminating in a championship game to crown the SEC Tournament champion.
