Commercial Construction Project Manager 100K - 120K

Job Description Summary
The Project manager is responsible for planning and overseeing the administrative side of projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Project managers plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way
 
Responsibilities
ü Determine and define project scope and objectives
ü Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
ü Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
ü Track project costs in order to meet budget
ü Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
ü Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
ü Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
ü Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
 
Supervisory Responsibility
Project manager shall supervise superintendents and vendors on a daily basis. 
 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
ü 5-8 years of construction project management and related experience
ü Proven ability to solve problems creatively
ü Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
ü Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
ü Excellent analytical skills
ü Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
ü Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
 
 
Education and/or Experience:
ü Proven working experience in project management
ü Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
ü Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
