| The Project manager is responsible for planning and overseeing the administrative side of projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Project managers plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way |
| Responsibilities | |
| ü | Determine and define project scope and objectives |
| ü | Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner |
| ü | Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements |
| ü | Track project costs in order to meet budget |
| ü | Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan |
| ü | Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress |
| ü | Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables |
| ü | Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution |
| Supervisory Responsibility |
| Project manager shall supervise superintendents and vendors on a daily basis. |
| Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: | |
| ü | 5-8 years of construction project management and related experience |
| ü | Proven ability to solve problems creatively |
| ü | Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices |
| ü | Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle |
| ü | Excellent analytical skills |
| ü | Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful |
| ü | Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline |
| Education and/or Experience: | |
| ü | Proven working experience in project management |
| ü | Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills |
| ü | Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience |
