Mark Samuels will discuss the process of becoming MBE certified and the benefits of certification. Please plan to attend this informative meeting.\n\nMark Samuels is the Regional Director of MBEServices at the Southern Region Minority Supplier Development Council (SRMSDC). Mark is an expert in minority business certification.  He has served as manager and overseen the certification process for the Southern Regions Minority Supplier Development Council for over 10 years.  His role at SRMSDC goes beyond certification. Mark interacts with minority businesses on a daily basis\, providing them with support\, advocacy and access to corporate America via supplier diversity initiatives.  He is the first line of access to minority contracting opportunities with major corporations both in and outside of Louisiana.  Mark's understanding of corporate needs comes from a strong background in the hospitality industry in sales and marketing and he continues to apply these skills to helping to grow minority-owned businesses in the Southern Region.
